Short version: My PDF Library is designed as a local-first PDF library. Imported PDF documents are intended to remain on the user's device for the core library and reading experience.

1. Information we handle

When you use My PDF Library, you may choose PDF files or ZIP archives through your device's file picker. The application needs access to the files you explicitly select so it can import, store and display them in your library.

2. PDF documents

Imported PDFs are stored in application-managed storage on your device. The app uses a local database to keep document information such as the file name, local file path, file size, import date and reading-related metadata.

The core library does not require you to upload the contents of your PDFs to a document server.

3. ZIP imports

If you choose a ZIP file, the app processes the archive to find supported PDF files. Temporary extraction data is intended to be removed after processing. Files that you did not select for import are not intended to become part of your library.

4. Information collected by the website

This website is primarily an informational site for My PDF Library. It does not provide an account system or a web-based PDF upload service. If analytics, advertising, contact forms or other third-party services are added in a future version, this policy should be updated before those services are enabled.

5. Third-party services

The application may be distributed through Google Play. Google may process information according to its own policies and terms. The website may also link to third-party services such as Google Play. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Data security

We recommend keeping your device protected with a secure screen lock and maintaining backups of important documents. No software can guarantee absolute security, so you remain responsible for protecting your device and files.

7. Children's privacy

My PDF Library is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. The core app does not require an account to maintain a local PDF library.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app or website changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
